Meeting Minutes

Monday, February 10th, 2025 @ 7:00pm

Emsdale Community Centre

Attendance: Bob Harrison, Brent Stapleton, Terry English, Fraser Bull, Kevin Ryan,

Amanda Traves, Kyle Ryan, Richard Zdriluk, Garry Fraser, Bill Bird

1. 1. 1. 1. Welcome: Kevin opened Meeting at 7:01pm
         2. Approval of Agenda: Approved by Bob Harrison and 2nd by Bill Bird. All in Favor
         3. Approval Previous Minutes: Approved by Bob Harrison and 2nd by Kyle Ryan
         4. Business arising from Previous Minutes:
            • • Bob Harrison still has not been in touch with Frank Heron regarding land use permit.
              • Bob wants to know if our map is CGIS overlay- Brent to look into.
              • Dog Sled races went great. Terry to send pics of Dog Sleds to Perry to be put onwebsite
              • Bob, Kevin and Brent to get dinner set up at Edgewater
         5. Membership: 134 Individual and 51 Family
         6. Bylaws: Kawartha is Starting over with Bylaws.
         7. Spring Poker Ride:
            • • Kathy at Edgewater wants to know price and size of tent – Brent sent info to Kathy
              • March 17th Ticket sales to go live on the website
              • Sister Clubs would like a flyer to put on their websites
              • Menu at Canteen to stay the same
              • Brent to speak with Dorothy at Legion about doing Canteen
         8. AGM: May 4th, 2025 at the Emsdale Community Centre at 10am
         9. Family of Clubs Meeting: Brent went to family of clubs meeting Feb 9th, 2025
            Three things on Agenda
            • Land trust South of Haliburton – 25000 acres – nature reserve. Keep eye on it.
            • OFATV – wants stewardship of Crown Land
            • Pass Pricing
              • Annual $150
              • Family $300
              • Day $ 30
              • 2 Day $ 40
              • Week $ 60 Price changes to be implemented on April 1, 2025
                Kevin Ryan motioned to increase prices as per above. 1st by Fraser Bull, seconded by Kyle Ryan. All in Favor.
         10. Other Business:
             • • -Lisa @ the Legion needs to know how may tickets and pricing Amount of tickets – 3000 and ticket pricing $10 each or three for $20 Bob to contact Lisa with information
               • -Amanda sent an email to Susan to discuss at meeting about Club Ride for Trillium Off Road Recovery – Kevin will Reach out to them.
               • -Quotes on Club SXS for Windshield – Hold off until better option available
               • -Fraser to order inside mirror and back window
               • -Front window Top Facebook page and club email
               • -Next meeting to discuss Trail Maintenance with Mark Reynolds
