Meeting Minutes
Monday, July 14th, 2025 @ 7:00pm
Emsdale Community Centre
Attendance: Kevin Ryan, Amanda Traves, Richard Zdriluk, Susan Fetterley, Brenda Cameron, Brent Stapleton, Kyle Ryan
Regrets: Bob Harrison, Fraser Bull, Garry Fraser, Terry English, Bill Bird
1. Welcome: Brent opened meeting at 7:07am
2. Approval of Agenda: Agenda approved by Bill Bird and Bob Harrison
3. Approval Previous Minutes: Fraser Bull need to be added to Attendance. Approved with Change by Kevin and Seconded by Brenda. All in Favor
4. Approval AGM Minutes
5. Business arising from Previous Minutes: Mark Reynolds is going out to Moose Valley on 26th, . He has been out and graded trail 36 to First Camp. St
6. Membership: Individual 213, Family 69
7. Financials: Not Available.
8. The Laptop is needing an upgrade. The laptop will not accept Windows 11 in September. Motion made to purchase new laptop with a $2000 limit by Amanda and Seconded by Kevin. Kevin and Amanda will purchase, Susan to forward information as to what is needed. Amanda to purchase Annual Microsoft Subscription for $120/year. Motioned by Kyle Ryan and seconded by Susan. All in favor.
9. Trails:
- Trail 30 Beaver Dam. MNR will not help with ATV Trails.
- Trail 36 – Two washouts from heavy rain. Both by Long Lake. Chris Boothby to go in for 2 days to repair trail. Approx cost $5000. Motioned by Susan and Seconded by Kevin. All in favor.
- Trail 42 – Brent was advised of washouts on trail 42. Need to go in and access.
- Richard has given a chainsaw case to Fraser.
- Garry Fraser to purchase a 16” Bar and Chain and second Chainsaw case if needed at Muskoka Rent All
- Need to check into First Aid Training and Chainsaw Training if needed.
10. Monthly Club Rides: Garry has asked for additional help for Saturday’s Ride. Richard and Garry are doing ride. No additional help is available. Advised to take a chainsaw on ride.
11. ATV Raffle Ticket Sales:
- Legion Car Show: Saturday, July 26th – 10am – 3:00pm – Brenda and Garry
- Kearney Regatta: August 2nd and 3rd 8am – 12pm and 12pm – 4pm
– Brent to make up a schedule for volunteers.
11. Other Business: Fall Rally – Brent has talked to Wendy about Breakfast and Dinner for 200 people. Pricing $85 1+ HST Members and $95 + HST Non Members. Registration to open September 2nd. All Communication for Rally will be by Email.
