Meeting Minutes

Attendance: Bob Harrison, Brent Stapleton, Garry Fraser, Brenda Cameron, Susan Fetterley, Bill Bird, Terry English, Fraser Bull Regrets: Kevin Ryan, Amanda Traves, Kyle Ryan, Richard Zridruk

1. Welcome: Meeting opened at 7:06am by Brent Stapleton
2. Approval of Agenda: Approved by Bill Bird and 2nd by Brenda Cameron
3. Approval Previous Minutes: Approved by Bob Harrison and 2nd by Gary Fraser
4.Business arising from Previous Minutes: Trail 30 has been opened, Trail 16 tree hanging over has been removed. High water on trail 37 from beaver dam – still not passable.
5. Membership: Numbers not available. Memberships are down. Some contacting that passes have not been received. One requesting a refund as season if over.
6. Financials: Bank Balance $80,334.30.
7. Trails: Trail 18 needs work and 27. Trail 37 still has high water. Trail 42 has a portion of the loop closed, due to unsafe road condition
8. Spring Poker Ride 2027: Too be discussed after the Fall Rally
9. Fall Rally: Need Canteen Trailer Empty
- Saturday, September 19th – Trail Maintenance for Fall Rally Meet at the Legion at 9am-
- Garry Fraser/Terry English/Bob Harrison/Ken Branch/Possibly Frank
- Wednesday, Sept 23rd – Brent and Garry to check trails For Arrows
- Friday- Brent And Garry collect Food
- Friday Night Ride – Brent guide Ride and Bob/Kim- Hot Chocolate and bonfire
- Friday – Bob Harrison will meet with Call of the Wild
- Saturday – everyone meet at the Legion at 6:30am to set up.
- Registration – Susan, Sandra, Holly, Trudy, Jenna, Brenda
- Terry on Ranger middle of ride – set up water pump
- Possibly Frank to follow up Ride – Brenda to contact Highland Rovers for volunteers
- Dorothy has crew for BBQ
- Kyle taking trailer to canteen
- Susan to Send Map out for Fall Rally Trail
- EVERYONE please collect prizes
- Susan to get order to Independent
10. Moore-Field-Drags: Bob was asked to consider Sponsorship for Event. Unfortunately, they are out of our district and funds are low this year.
11. Other Business: Next Meeting September 14th @ 7:00pm at the Emsdale Community Center
