Meeting Minutes

1. Welcome: Kevin Ryan opened meeting @ 7:02pm
2. Approval of Agenda: Approved by Bob Harrison and Seconded by Brent Stapleton
3. Approval Previous Minutes: Approved by Bob Harrison and Seconded by Garry Fraser
4. Business arising from Previous Minutes:
- Laptop has not been purchased yet.
- No update from the Town of Kearney on the Speed Limits
- Camp of Many Colors have not been given the donation of $1500 yet
- Trail 32 has not been complete at this time
- Santa Charity Ski Show went well with $30,000+ being raised for the Burks Falls food bank 4000 lbs of food – Thank You to Bullocks Independent grocers for the support with the food purchased
- Highland Rovers and Almaguin District Donation Cheques have not been delivered yet.
- Gps service has been cancelled for the two
- Trail closure Dec 1st has been posted on website.
5. Membership: Not Available.
6. Financials: Not Available.
7. Trails: Kelly Shire Fund Raiser will be using our trails on May 2nd, 2026 and are looking for 4 people to guide two groups.
8. Fall Rally: Everything went Smooth all day long. No complaints heard.
9. Other Business:
- Spring Rally will be Saturday, April 25th, 2026.
- Mike From HATVA sent an invite to their Christmas Dinner at Bonnie View Inn on December 7, 2025.
- Kevin suggested we cancel the December meeting and have a Christmas Dinner. It was agreed on having a Christmas Dinner at Fork on Main on Wednesday, December 10th – Bob to check with April at Fork on main.
- Frank has been given a copy of the land use agreement by the Town of Kearney
- Mike from HATVA asked for a Donation towards Winter trails. Brent Stapleton motion to donation the same as last year, $500. Seconded by Amanda Traves. Everyone in favor.
- Brent to check and see when Josianne would be available to get the Map for 2026-2027 ready.
- Suggested by Susan to discount the instock clothing and order new after the Spring Rally.
- Susan to sent minutes to Perry to put on the website. The last on the website is May 2025
